A Senior Nursing Officer, Mrs Rasheedat Adebola Yusuf of the Neonatal Unit (NNU) has been honored with a Certificate of Completion having successfully completed Certification Program of Nursing and Nutrition (CPNN) which was organized by the Institute of John Hopkins Nursing (IJHN) and supported by the Nestle Nutrition Institute (NNI).
The CPNN Program was an exclusive educational initiative which was designed to engage nursing professionals in paediatric practice, with the reform on nutritional concepts applicable to infants and toddlers and provides valuable awareness on the nursing care of new-born infants.
This exclusive program was done virtually in modules outside working hour and was a step down training which involved passing down to other colleagues the knowledge acquired during the training at the completion of every module under the supervision of the organizers.
The Medical Director Professor Adewale Musa Olomu appreciated the participant for representing the centre in a good manner , urging her not to rest on her oars.
The Head of the department, Mrs R.A Ashimi appreciated the Medical Director for always being a source of encouragement to the entire nurses in the Centre.
She pledged the continuous support of her department towards the realization of the Medical Director’s lofty vision for the Centre.
